Billion-lira profiteering in funds, poverty at the people’s table

Monthly inflation reached 2.58 per cent and annual inflation 29.77 per cent in October. The purchasing power of the minimum wage fell by 6,063 lira in ten months, while rising rents and bills forced low-income citizens to cut their food expenditure.
