37 children died in workplace fatalities at MESEM centres over two years; officials remain silent

During the 2025–2026 academic year, 37 children lost their lives in workplace fatalities resulting from at least 9,950 accidents at MESEM centres. Neither the Ministry of National Education nor the Ministry of Labour has accepted responsibility. The families said they had been left to fend for themselves.
